Studio Shots of Michelle Hurney in London

I have experience photographing in indoor studio environments with many lighting layouts. I prefer to photograph people in their natural environment, where they are most relaxed and backgrounds and objects can be used to encourage their character and personality to come to the forefront. However, it is still possible to do this with a studio, like the ones below of Michelle Hurney. I did this by placing a softbox behind her and directing a light with a snoot (a tube that creates a spot of light) on her face. This lighting freezes her hair in mid-air and it also highlights her energetic and fun-loving personality.
