Studio shots of Michelle Hurney in London
I have experience photographing in indoor studios environment with a variety of different lighting lay out. Although admittedly some of mine are cobbled together, just a couple of lights in a room, like with Ryan Frendo and the image of myself (in the about page). Admittedly I prefer to photograph people in there natural environment, were they are more relaxed and backgrounds and objects can be used to encourage there character and personality to come to the forefront. This being said it is still possible to do this with a studio, like the ones bellow of Michelle Hurney. I did this by placing a softbox behind her and placing a light with a snoot (a tube that creates a spot of light) on here face. This lighting out not only freeze her hair in mid air, it also highlighted here energetic and fun loving personality.
